Damien BLANC validated his PhD on Ovarian Cancer with Deep Learning
Damien started with Quantacell in September 2018 and his work has primarily focused on the domains of deep learning and image segmentation.
Damien has successfully defended his PhD thesis on 9-Dec-2022.
Quantacell is very happy with his achievements
SUMMARY: Damien’s work primarily deals with the use of automatic methods based on artificial intelligence under the different contexts of biomedical imaging. The main objective of his work was to investigate to what extent deep learning models (DL) can be utilised towards the solving of concrete clinical problems. In particular, Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) were highlighted, whose architecture is specifically adapted to the recognition and segmentation of objects in visual data such as images or videos.
